The Captain's House is a very special property and one that it is very easy to be enthusiastic about. Set in an unrivalled position in the higher hills of Peyia this lovely detached villa has the most outstanding 180 degree views of the Mediterranean Sea and Paphos coastline. This lovely property has a charm and character all of its own, a quiet commanding presence in almost a colonial style, making you feel that you are stepping back in time. But by far the most impressive feature of the property is the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean which can be enjoyed from almost every aspect of the property. It has a beautiful mature garden which is completely private and lovely balconies on which to relax, sunbathe, gaze at the amazing views, or to watch the sun go down.
The property has its own private driveway and a delightful, private front garden. The front door leads into the large entrance hall with cloakroom and ground floor bedroom to the left. This leads through to the large living space which has French doors onto the lower balcony which in turn leads through to the dining room, kitchen and utility room. The whole space has an easy flow and the sense of a real home.
Stairs from the ground floor lead to the first floor landing with doors out onto the top balcony. The master bedroom has doors out onto the balcony, a dressing room and a large bathroom. There are two further bedrooms on the first floor, one double and one twin bedded and a further bathroom.
The outside of this property is truly spectacular. There is a large private heated pool with sun terraces surrounding. But the gardens with pots, geraniums and other colourful plants are truly breathtaking. All this is against the 180 degree view of the Mediterranean that you see in the background.
It is not difficult to imagine yourself relaxing here on a sunbed around the pool, or sipping an early evening aperitif while you watch the sun go down. This villa is a gem and we don't think you will want to leave it very often once you set foot over its threshold!
