On cooler days, the subtropical swimming paradise in De Haan attracts many visitors. You can visit Plopsaland in De Panne with your children or the popular seaside resort of Ostend located 10 km away. In Ostend you will find excellent shopping areas, such as the famous Kapellestraat. The cultural attractions of the city include the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, the Fort Napoleon and the former royal summer residence.
