The "Da Silva Surfcamp" is a typical Portuguese country house in the middle of nature without any traffic in the immediate vicinity. The property is surrounded by extensive fields and one has a fantastic view from everywhere over the green landscape and a wide valley up to the opposite villages. Our house is a hostel with 26 beds. There are a total of 5 rooms of different sizes and 3 wooden houses. The prices given here refer to the complete accommodation for up to 26 people including breakfast. The prices for single rooms, double rooms or triple rooms can be found in our other offers. We are also happy to make you an individual offer according to your needs.

From the huge sun terrace you can see the blue sea and the beach resort Praia da Areia Branca lying comfortably in a hammock. In the evenings you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets. There are various beautiful paths through the countryside to the beach, where you can walk in about 20 minutes. With the beach cruiser, which you can rent for free, you don't need 10 minutes and by car you can reach the beach in 3 minutes. Although one is so close to the Atlantic Ocean, one has the feeling to be somewhere in the country far away from the hustle and bustle of beach life.
Our surf camp is an open house, i.e. there is always a lot going on here. Our guests often go shopping together and then cook together in our surf camp kitchen. Of course our barbecue place is also available. In Praia da Areia Branca there are also some cheap restaurants and on request we can take you to dinner in other nice places in the area. There are also often spontaneous barbecue parties or campfire sessions. Since we are Portuguese ourselves, some of our friends come along and sit down at the campfire. Then it's not uncommon for someone to suddenly take out a guitar and the evening goes much longer than planned. But there are also some very nice party destinations in the area, to which we gladly take you in our shuttle bus. After all, you should not only learn to surf, but also get to know some of the nice Portuguese nightlife.
Surroundings:
Praia da Areia Branca, 65 km north of Lisbon, is a typical Portuguese seaside resort with little foreign tourism. The dreamlike long sandy beach with its many surf spots offers a lot of waves for every surfer. Lonely beaches without other surfers can be found after a short walk in the adjoining bays.
Praia da Areia Branca is located only 15 km south of the port city Peniche, whose beaches are the best surfing area in Europe. The waves of the legendary surf spots Supertubos or Lagido are ridden by surfers from all over the world. Our shuttle bus will take you to the best waves and most beautiful beaches in the area. Some of the nearby bays are so-called Secret Spots, the location of which is reluctantly revealed by the locals (local surfers).
In Praia da Areia Branca there is a beautiful beach promenade with many small cafés and good restaurants. The place is especially suitable for families with young children, as there is a very nice and manageable nightlife and the contact to the locals is very easy. The express bus between Peniche and Lisbon stops hourly in this place.
Arrival:
The nearest airport is in Lisbon, about 65 km north of our surf camp. From there you can easily get to Praia da Areia Branca by express bus for only 12 €/ person. We will pick you up free of charge from the bus stop. The bus timetable and further detailed journey information you get from us. So everything is very easy.
Airport transfer
We also pick you up at the airport in Lisbon and bring you back again. Price on request.
Surf school:
If you want, you can learn to surf quickly and safely from local surfers and get an intensive impression of the Portuguese way of life and culture. Surfing" is an exciting game with the forces of nature. At the same time it is in absolute harmony with nature. We would like to convey to you the "Spirit of Surfing", which stands for harmony among surfers, respect for nature, the ocean and the culture of the country.
