L'hirondelle has two bedrooms -
*one double and a second bedroom with up to 3 single beds.
*There is a shared shower room and toilet.
*Downstairs there is a large living room with French and English Tv and unlimited Internet
*a sizeable fully equipped kitchen diner.
*Outside there is a private garden with table and chairs and barbecue.
In the grounds there are 4 acres of gardens and grass which are great for playing games and having picnics or just relaxing.
The heated swimming pool is 11 meters by 6 metres and is open from May to September.
When guests book they have access to the whole Gite, with shared access to the grounds, gardens and heated-swimming pool.
We can offer a wine-tasting experience which brings together all the guests from our Gites and finishes with an open barbecue for those who wish to partake.
There are many things to do in this area of France and we offer a fully-digital Guide Book and Gite Manual for guests who have booked.
The Guide Book gives information about:-
* Visiting local villages markets
* Visiting local Chateaux and Chateaux further afield e.g. Chenonceaux and Villandry
* Exploring the Brenne national park which begins just 25 minutes from La Richardiere
* Canoeing, Horse-riding, Fishing, Tennis and Bird watching are all available
* Zoo Parc Beauval, Futuroscope and other big attractions are within 90 minutes drive

N.b. A car is essential as we are in the countryside
Beware, in France most things stop for lunch between 12 and 2pm, but they stray open later into the evening. So it is good advice to leave early and adopt the French way and take a leisurely lunch or picnic in the middle of the day. Many amenities are closed on Mondays.
Please note, we do not accept dogs on this property as there are no boundaries and we respect the potential health issues of the next guests to stay in the Gites.
