On the other hand, you must bear in mind that in the area there are shops and stores of all kinds, and even many crafts, souvenirs and there are several galleries of artists.
To move you have several options, if you are not interested in walking, or want to visit more distant places, you can rent a state taxi (yellow and almost all air-conditioned) by telephone. A trip through the city costs between 15 and 20 Cuc per hour, depending on the destination. You can also access the taxis we call "almendrones" (old American cars that are used as collective taxis). These cars have fixed routes with a pre-established destination (between 0.50 and 1.00 cuc) and in their route people are collected to complete their capacity. You should always ask what your career is, to confirm that you are close to where you want to go.
You can look for the "tourist bus" to tour part of the city.This bus makes a tour of the most important points of the city.The price Iscuc per person and free for children under 6 years and with the right to use the service all day from 9:00 Am to 5:00 Pm.
You could also access other taxis with personalized service (old convertible cars) that offer different city tour offers. They are usually parked in places frequented by tourists. The prices are agreed between the client and the taxi driver, generally between 25 and 40 Cuc per hour. If the car is not convertible the price is lower, between 10 and 25 Cuc per hour.
You can take a bike-taxi, which is a kind of tricycle prepared with seats and roof for the protection of sun and rain. The price must be agreed upon when requesting the service.
The owner can tell you which is the best alternative depending on the place you want to visit.
