This is a good sized room and is quite close to the master room, hence would be ideal for young children, with the kids being close to their parents.
It gives on an attractive balcony that views the garden, the courtyard, and, of course, endless miles of the Jamaican sea coast with its coral reef.
There are windows for fresh air and view...
but ACs are also provided, for those hot, still, days.
It also has its own ensuite bathroom with hot water.
This is a nice combo with The Masters Room.
The Space:
It is about a 50 minutes drive from either Montego Bay or Kingston.
It is 5 minutes from Dunns River Falls, and 10 minutes from Ocho Rios.
Their is no better location from which to explore St. Ann and St. Mary, and if you have rented a car... the whole North Coast, east of Mobay.
Guest Access:
This guests have exclusive control over the room they are in.
If they rent the whole house, of course,
they control it.
If not, the public spaces are shared.
Interaction with Guests:
The properties are run as a business, with staff focused on the operation.
As such, I may or may not be involved in a particular situation.
The Neighborhood:
It is an upper-class area, and very scenic and peaceful.
The location allows a lot of flexability in your Holiday plans.
All the attractions of St. Ann and St. Mary are at your command.....
and Kingston and Montego Bay are each less than an hour away.
Could not be better!
Getting Around:
The Community is right on the Main Road, but the house is a ten minute walk from the entrance.
It would probably be convenient to rent a car!
However, if you just want to cool out, and relax in a lovely spot..... taxis can work too.
It depends on the guest, and how ambitious they are.
Other Things to Note:
We have provided a reasonable number of sheets and towels etc. However, it is very likely that they will need to be laundered from time to time, especially for longer stays. The responsibility to do this is upon the guest. However, if you wish to pay for an extra cleaning, the laundry of the sheets and towels will be done.
Please note that this listing does not come with any form of a meal plan and also that the host is not required to supply groceries to the guest.
The initial cleaning that we provide our guests is charged for as part of the original booking.
New cleanings are very easy to arrange!
All you have to do is ask for a fresh cleaning and one will be provided at the same cost as the first.
Electricity is a huge expense in this big old house. We have routinely received bills exceeding US$1000.00 a month. We are "begging" our guests to have some pity on us!! It is especially galling to see all the airconditioners on full blast, and the guests are not even present in the property.
Please be informed that, in such a case, we will turn off the A/C s ourselves.
