Escape to the peace and tranquility of the homestay, nestled amidst lush greenery and the magical hills. Enter the confines of the property and the beautiful silhouettes of rolling hills and the huge 100-year-old Jacaranda beckons you. The homestay can be best described as a 19th century Scottish bungalow with architecture and interiors that blurs the line between natural and man-made. The bungalow is surrounded by a large garden area with a variety of flora, birds and open spaces to relax in.
The homestay derives its name from a Scottish district meaning "Valley of the River". It was built in 1894 by the Scottish planter and is surrounded on one side by the famous Sims Park, and Blair Athol & Blair Gowri on its east, which were the only two buildings built prior to our homestay on the entire lane. It has been owned by the family hailing from Kottayam since 1955 and now is all about redefining the vacation residence. The ancestral heritage home is now open to you to help you unwind and take in all that nature has to offer.
The homestay hostess provides the most relaxing environment possible, making her guests feel like they are at a home away from home. “My guests should feel more at home here than anywhere else in the world,” says the property owner.
There are two bedrooms and offers double King sized beds, clean fresh bed linens, doors which open to a relaxing lounge and a sprawling garden in front of it. The privacy and remoteness of this historic homestay, along with the most beautiful sunsets creates the perfect backdrop for an intimate getaway.
Come to our beautiful place and relive your romance, breathe in good health, lose yourself in nature and discover yourself.
