In front of the living area there is an open terrace. The house is close to an excellent sandy beach with dunes. Odsherred offers art, history and sporting activities. You can also enjoy good fishing along the coast. The natural landscape is especially enchanting. Odsherred is well known as a UNESCO Geopark. You can explore the glacial terrain and the dolmens on the peninsula. Your children will be thrilled by a visit to the Odsherred Fire Museum or to the harbour of Rørvig where they can go on Seal Safaris. In the small port in the fishing village, your children can catch crabs from the pier. You can pay a visit to the local smokehouse on the waterfront. The Dragsholm Castle on the peninsula, which dates from the 13th century is believed to be haunted. Havnebyen is the only proper fishing port here with boats and a small smokehouse. Even amateur anglers can catch something here. In Nykøbing Sjælland you can go shopping and enjoy the cafe culture. From Rørvig you can sail to Hundested from where it is only an hour's drive to Copenhagen. From Havnsø there are ferries to the islands Sejerø and Nekselø. In Sejerø you will find a beautiful natural landscape, megalithic tombs and a church with frescoes. The island of Nekselø offers a unique birdlife and excellent fishing grounds. You can buy freshly smoked fish from Havneby located nearby, which is the only fishing port in Odsherred.
