The idea behind the homestay is to enjoy the untouched natural beauty and the local flora and fauna without interfering. It assists both those who love nature and understand the importance of maintaining ecological balance and for those wish to gain a new experience of nature and understand it. This 6 acre property has everything fruit bearing orchards, wild jungle area, spacious room with mud plastered wall to ward off insects and maintain insulation to beat the cold. And plenty of activities to enjoy. Many indoor and outdoor games and reading materials. Picking seasonal fruits and vegetables from their fields and orchard is very amusing. The fresh and organic pickings are later used to prepare food for the guests.

There is so much place to to run around, understand nature and partake in the process of harvesting.

The owner ensures that one meal is made in the local Kumaouni style for the guest to imbibe to localness of the place.

The indoor types can try their hand in Chess; Carom; ludo etc. and outdoor games like badminton and cricket. read books of jim corbett and related to mother nature . Adventure activities and safari can be organized on request. Eco Harrymans Home-stay is spread across a sprawling seven acre estate. Eco Harrymans Home-stay is a place where you can come to relax and unwind from the chaotic hustle and bustle of city life .and can come close to nature.

Please note: This calm and quite place is especially ideal for philosophers thinkers, authors, research scholar, student groups and nature lovers. those who are seeking modern facilities will not find it interesting.

Your responsibilities;

Remember that you are staying with a family so please behave as a courteous guest.
Always travel with a guide.
Vegetation is fragile: follow designated trails.
Avoid littering. deposit garbage at designated places only. Keep all pollutants away from streams and lakes.
Respect local culture by asking before taking photographs and dress modestly .be aware of the customs manners and culture of the local people.
Don’t disturb wildlife or its habitat. Don’t buy endangered species or antiques.
Don’t smoke drink alcohal or talk loudly near sacred places.

Please note We do not offer room service of food to the cottages. Food is served in the dining area at specific timings. Breakfast timings are between 7 am-11 am (summer) and 8 am-11:30 am (winter). Dinner timings are between 6 pm-10 pm (summer), 7 pm-10 pm (winter). Also, there are no televisions in the Rooms. The reason for this is that we wish that our guests will appreciate enjoying the silence and the environment they are in.

Stringent: No charges will be levied if booking is canceled 61 days prior to check-in. If cancellation is done between 30 to 60 days prior to check-in, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged. Post that, there will be no refund.
