Milkwood Cottage nestles in the indigenous vegetation under the trees with beautiful views of the countryside and the sea. It is a refreshing, spacious apartment which has a kitchenette equipped with a large fridge/freezer, sink, toaster, microwave, a kettle, crockery, cutlery and utensils.
A short stroll from the carpark will lead you to this beautiful hideaway.
There are 2 cosy bedrooms in Milkwood Cottage, both with a view onto the indigenous vegetation, providing you with absolute privacy. Bedroom 1 is furnished with 2 single beds Or a kingsize bed which are pushed together for couples sharing. These can be converted to kingsize for couples staying 2 nights and longer upon request and free of charge. This must be pre-arranged with us at least 1 day before arrival. Bedroom 2 is furnished with 2 single beds.
The living/kitchenette area is spacious and opens onto the deck with beautiful sea and countryside views, and is furnished with a corner pallet couch unit.
Below Milkwood Cottage is The Cooking Shack, a communal facility which we created from up-cycled materials. It is an undercover and partially enclosed area furnished with a bar counter, couches and seating and equipped with braai facilities and a 2-plate gas stove. A fabulous place to chill out.
You are welcome to bring your own wood, charcoal & firelighters which are also available to purchase from our on-site shop for guest convenience.
We have thoroughly enjoyed creating this lovely space and are continuously adding fresh & innovative decor ideas so that we are able to provide our guests with a fabulous experience while staying with us on our beautiful property.
Take a stroll under a full moon on a calm night and listen to the peaceful sounds of owls and frogs.
On your arrival you will be provided with complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, full cream milk and delicious biscuits/rusks.
A television is notably absent from the list of amenities, helping you to escape everyday modern life and relax in total privacy and enjoy the beauty around you.

We are always available to help with information, recommendations, answers to questions and any other assistance you may require. In our absence, there will be a co-host who will happily be available for you at all times.
Karen & Keith's home is located in Port Elizabeth in the beautiful Chelsea Conservancy - a stunning up-market area with kilometers of indigeneous bush, abundant wildlife, hiking trails, beaches, seaside resorts, scenic drives and lovely country eateries .
Kragga Kamma Game Park and Seaview Game Park are a short 10 minute drive from us. Sardinia Bay beach is rated a blueflag beach and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and is a short 5km from our property. Enjoy beautiful sunset walks on the beach or chill out on top of the dunes and enjoy the most beautiful views.
Going to a wedding? Getting married? There are numerous wedding venues in close proximity to our property. We cater for wedding/bridal group accommodation.
The birdlife on our property is exceptional due to our preservation of the indigenous vegetation and the nature and tranquility are phenomenal.
If you do not have a vehicle we recommend Uber. They are very active in our area. And of course there is now Uber Eats.
Smoking is not permitted inside the unit. You are welcome to smoke outside. This includes vaping. Please use the ashtray/container provided.
Milkwood Cottage is not serviced daily. For longer stays, cleaning/rates can be arranged with us.
We respect guest privacy and will not enter your apartment at any time during your occupancy unless we are requested to do so or in the case of an emergency. If you want your apartment serviced daily please enquire regarding the rates.
For longer stays, fresh towels are provided every 3rd day and linen once a week.
We do not permit visitors as this impacts on other guests. Guest privacy and security is paramount.
Our establishment is marketed for tranquility and serenity to those who wish to escape from busy city life. Our place is not for guests who will create a noise by playing loud music and holding loud gatherings, thereby disrupting others.
Our place is for those who enjoy tranqility, serenity, beautiful views, nature and animals.
