The area is family friendly and has child-friendly beaches with calm water. Explore Haderslev, which is located nearby, and stroll through the quaint district dominated by a cathedral. Do visit the Dampark in the centre. Aabenraa, the cosy town of South Jutland, is perfect for a pleasant stroll in the well-paved shopping street. The summer palace of the royal family is situated in Gråsten, further south.
