The Eastern Salling region boasts an attractive and unspoilt coastline characterised by tranquil, child-friendly beaches. While some parts of Denmark are known for their fresh westerly winds, this coastal region is more sheltered, and is therefore well suited to walking trips at any time of year. Here, the glistening water of the Limfjord and the unblemished countryside stretch as far as the eye can see, and seals can often be seen popping their heads up from the water to see what is happening on the beach - or even taking in a spot of sunbathing on the offshore sandbanks!
