Plaka is 23 km from Chania. You will follow the highway to Rethymnon, turn left at the exit to Kalives, you will pass first Kalyves after Almyrida and then ascend to the hill above the village.

Plaka is ideal for holidays for those who really want to relax and enjoy nature and the less touristy nature of Crete, but being away from larger resorts such as Kalyves, Georgioupolis or Chania.
