The holiday house Flora, with open kitchen, is situated in a quiet environment. There are a well-kept garden, a garden shed and a terrace with garden furniture.
It is the only house with a ground floor and a mezzanine above, so you have a lot of space in the two upper bedrooms. There are two bedrooms with twin beds. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with a French bed (1. 40 Xm), as well as the toilet and bathroom with a shower cabin. The kitchen is integrated into the living room. There is an oven in the electric stove. The furniture is functional, and from 1996, therefore no longer according to the current taste.
There is a washing machine available. There is (nl) cable tv. Not Wi-fi available. Pets are not allowed.
Outside there is a nice terrace. The parking place in front of the house is big enough for 2 cars. Grilling is possible, but there is no bbq available.
In Oostmahorn there are a variety of facilities including:
-children’s outdoor play areas - There are 3 playgrounds. One at the beach, one has an air-trampoline and an indoor playground. The third one is at the holiday park "de Schans".
-for children, there is a 300-meter long sandy and grass beach.
-there is a small supermarket, a snack bar, pizzeria, a cafeteria on the beach, and 3 restaurants. Next to the bungalow park is a harbour where you can rent boats, surfboards or bicycles.
-Leisure activities: golf course at Pitch & Putt in Esonstad, angling, hiking, fishing
-Sport adventure activities: cycling, wind-surfing, hiking, swimming, and fishing
There are miles of sandy beaches on the main island Ameland and Schiermonnikoog.
In the area near the park is a sailing/surfing school with a beautiful beach.
In the area:
-in the nearby frisian village of Anjum are shops, restaurants, Atm and the supermarket "coop".
-the nearby National Park Lauwersmeer is a paradise for fishermen, water sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, hikers, and cyclists.
-you can take a sightseeing cruise on the Lauwersmeer or at the Wadden Sea, where you can watch the seals.
-if you like shopping, you can visit the beautiful old town of Dokkum.
-on the islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog, there are miles of sandy beaches. There is a good timetable to reach the islands by boat.

-linen/towels/kitchen towels must be brought along. Bed linen/towel sets available on loan.

-Fishing license price: 15 Eur per week.

-Smoking in the house leads to loss of security deposit.
