Kalopanayiotis is one of the most interesting resorts in Cyprus. It is
located in the Marathasa Valley on the Troodos range about 70 kms from
Nicosia and Limassol.
In recent years Kalopanayiotis has undergone a major revitalization
with emphasis on maintaining the traditional architecture, culture and
cuisine turning this typical picturesque village into one of the most
sought after areas of the Troodos Mountain resort.
Most people visit the village to enjoy the tranquility, the good food,
the nature trails and to breathe the clean oxygen reach air of the
region. Kalopanagiotis, however, has a lot more to offer. The
Lampadistis Monastery a UNESCO heritage site, is one of main points of
interest as are the traditional architecture, the sulfur springs, the
water mills, and the evergreen valley. The more adventurous visitors
can try the Kalopanagiotis - Oikos Nature Trail (about 4 km), explore
the region on quad bikes, spend the day fishing at the Kalopanagiotis
Water Dam or treat themselves at the spa of Casale Panayiotis . At the
