In the heart of Sydney's chic Surry Hills, this superbly renovated double storey, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment comes with all sorts of comforts, including a swimming pool and sauna in the building complex. Please note though, there are 2 flights of stairs to reach the apartment with no elevator, so it’s not suitable for people with mobility issues.
The Space:
The apartment is fully equipped with induction cooktop, wine fridge, a balcony with barbecue, fridge with ice-maker, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, sandwich maker and food processor. A Sonos sound system has ceiling speakers throughout the living and kitchen area. There is free WiFi throughout and USB plugs are conveniently located both upstairs in bedrooms and downstairs under kitchen bench and near wall-side table.
The 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs each have queen size beds, ceiling fans and air-conditioning. Windows provide leafy outlooks, with beautiful plantation shutters blocking out light when desired. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, while a separate bathroom for the second bedroom comes with a full length bath. Wall mounted TV's are in both bedrooms as well as in the living room, with Netflix capability. There is also hard wiring for Internet in the bedrooms if Wi-Fi is not active.
The laundry has washer and separate dryer.
Build complex amenities include a 15 metre lap pool as well as spa, sauna, gym and double tandem car park. All this only a 10-15 minute walk into Sydney's CBD.
Please bear in mind that there is no elevator to reach the apartment which is up 2 flights of stairs. There are also internal stairs within the apartment so it’s not suitable for guests with mobility issues.
The Neighborhood:
Surry Hills is positively buzzing with life. Amble along Crown Street and side streets and take your pick of eateries to suit any budget, or visit a bar after seeing an exhilarating show at the Belvoir Street Theatre. Small bars such as 121 BC and Button Bar are popular. For cocktails, visit The Horse and Clock, or The Soda Factory, which also offers live performances from bands to international DJs. Classic pubs such as the Keg and Brew Hotel and Dove & Olive pour craft beer.
You’ll find wonderful galleries nearby too, such as the Brett Whiteley Studio, where one of Australia’s most notable contemporary painters worked and lived until his death in 1992. The Ann Snell Gallery specialises is indigenous art and the Badger and Fox Gallery is in a convict-built terrace house.
If you enjoy shopping, there are literally dozens of clothing stores in the area, although we like ‘Grandma Takes a Trip’, a vintage/retro boutique. Other attractions include the Surry Hills Markets, held on the first Saturday of every month. The annual Surry Hills Festival in September celebrates the neighbourhood’s local music, food, arts and culture.
Getting Around:
This is an ideal location for transport, given it’s only a 10-15 minute walk into the CBD (Downtown) from the apartment and an 8 minute walk to Sydney’s major transport hub Central Station, where you can connect to the airport line train. Buses run up Crown Street into the city too, just a 5 minute walk from your door.

*An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
*Upon request, an extra queen size air mattress is available for an additional $60/ night (this fee does not apply if the extra guest fee has been paid).
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
