This independent small building is situated in a central location at a few steps from the Roman Theatre and the bridge “Ponte dellaPietra”. Recently renovated in a modern style respecting the original Features,dimoratascheriois characterized by the predominance of the white color in the furniture that gives it a bright look and its layout on 3 levels, allalsolinked by a private elevator, make it unique.
The apartment can comfortably accommodate 4 persons and it opens directly into a large living room with a comfy four-seater sofa which iseasilyconverted in a double bed and a low Tv cabinet; from here you can go outsidein the courtyard with chairs and an umbrella that allow a moment of relax. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a big double bed, a large wardrobe and a private bathroom with a spacious shower. Upstairs a dining area with an elegant 4 seaterglass table, a cooking area with modern equipment, a double sofa bed and a bathroom with shower. The apartment is completed byall modern facilities including air conditioning, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Wifi included.
The surroundings:
Dimora Tascherio is located at the n. 4 of Vicolo Borgo Tascherio, a narrow and characteristic street which winds its way in a curvilinear way among ancient houses going up the side of the hill of Sant Giovanni at the side of the Roman theater. Going up to the number 13 you can admire an eighteenth-century Crucifixion frescoed by Domenico Zanconti. The name Tascherio derives from the figure of tasquerius, who was the collector of "pockets", that is of taxes paid in nature imposed to whom entered in the city from the nearby door “Porta Organa”, founded by Romans. At the top of this narrow street the Romanesque church of San Giovanni in Valle, dating back the early Christian age, appears in all its beauty: almost certainly it was built on the site of a pagan temple dedicated to the Sun.
The area is densely populated by wine bars, cafes, restaurants and trendy bars ideals to enjoy a cappuccino or drinking a good Italian wine with typical snacks of local tradition.
