Situated in a rural area 700 metres from Santa Maria beach and it's restaurants, supermarket and church. This 1st floor apartment in a block of 4 is located in the Delta Club Residences in a gated resort of only 14 apartments. The property is air-conditioned/heating and has a large covered balcony/veranda ideal for alfresco dining. The large pool with jacuzzi and children's section, sun loungers and a covered gazebo is within a landscaped garden with banana plants, olive, lemon, orange and palm trees. The area of the Delta Club Residences covers i hectacre (10,000 sq m.) There is a beach volley ball court on the resort as well as badminton raquets, a boules set and balls available in the apartment.
There is ample parking for guests behind the apartments as well as another parking area adjacent to the volley ball court.
The resort is 3 km. from the popular beaches of Grotticelle and 12 km. from the medieval picturesque town of Tropea which is the favourite tourist destination in Calabria. Within a 30 minutes drive you will find the modern shopping mall of the Vibo Center which starkly contrasts with the centuries old mountain villages, some of which you will find just a few kilometres from the coast.

The sandy beach and crystal clear waters of Santa Maria is 700 metres away, a 10 minute down hill walk. Only 3km. away are the very popular sandy beaches of Grotticelle with their water sports and restaurants. At Faro Capo Vaticano the glorious coastal views and beaches can be seen from Belvedere near the lighthouse. Motor boat hire, commercial boat trips to the Aeolian Islands and Stromboli are available from Tropea harbour and from the beach at Grotticelle.
Hiking, cycling, horse riding, scuba diving, beach and boat fishing are some of the other activities available in the area. A golf course is within a 30 min drive away from Delta Club.

Lamezia Terme Airport: 65km. Ricadi Train Station: 3km. Ricadi Village: 2km. San Nicola: 3km. Santa Domenica: 9km. Spilinga famous for it's nduja: 8km. The very popular historical medieval town of Tropea has all the facilities with banks, hospital, numerous restaurants, shops and cafes and is only a 12km drive away.

Golf
The golf club Feudo Montalto is located in Limbadi a 30 minute drive away. This 9 hole golf course has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and is set amongst orange trees that give an amazing bouquet in the Spring. The one off fee of approximately 30 euros covers you for as many rounds as you can play that day. Golf buggies and clubs are available for hire. The Golf Club Hotel has a restaurant and other facilities such as a swimming pool and bar for non golf playing guests.
Skiing
The nearest ski resort is at Gambarie in the Aspromonte National Park. It is a small ski resort with 4 ski lifts (2 chair lifts, 2 surface lifts) but it does boast a very impressive 670m (2198 feet) in vertical descent. Gambarie in Aspromonte has 5 pistes. The ski resort has a very good ski school and is about 90km/a two hour drive away.
A visit to the medieval town of Tropea with its narrow streets, piazzas, shops and restaurants is not to be missed.
It is possible to do a day trip to Sicily and visit Messina and Taormina. With an early start it is also possible to see the Riaci Bronzes and to visit Scilla on the way back. The Ferry at Villa San Giovanni is only a 90 minutes drive from Delta Club, 15 mins going south from the Ferry is the National Museum in Reggio where you can view the amazing Riaci Greek 5th Century Bc bronzes. Going north 15 minutes drive from the Ferry you will find Scilla and it’s harbour and at Chianalea the interesting former fishermens dwellings and their slipways. Several have been converted to excellent sea food restaurants.

The nearest supermarket and restaurants are at Santa Maria 700 metres down the hill. Many restaurants and pizzerias can be found in the area in the season, less so in the winter but a number are open all year. Ricadi, San Nicola and San Dominica have shops, bars, post Office, weekly markets. The nearest Atm is 3km away at the Shaker Bar in San Nicola another 4km away near the Bussola Hotel.
