The Settecolli hotel restaurant began its activity in Filottrano in the early 80s to provide accommodation for the city, which was then in strong economic development.
Located 1 km from the center, behind the municipal sports field, it has seen other sports facilities rise around it.
The years of splendor were followed by a period of crisis until the closure in May 2018.
Polisportiva Filottrano Vollavolo, militant in the women's A1 series volleyball championship, asked for the facility to be used as a residence for the players of the youth teams and some Italian and foreign players of the first team.
The next step was the establishment of the hostel which started operating from 1 June 2020.
The structure has been divided into two parts: the first which occupies the second and third floors reserved for the hospitality of the team's technicians, managers and players, while the second occupies the first floor and is reserved for the hospitality of tourists.
The renovation made in 2000 has made the rooms more comfortable and modern, so even those that host customers can be equated to rooms in a 3-star hotel with private bathroom, air conditioning and TV
The "hostel" area consists of 9 rooms for a total capacity of 19 people.
The name includes "sport" because hospitality is mainly aimed at bikers and coasters.
Cyclists not only for the equidistance between the sea and the mountains but to pay homage to the tomb of Michele Scarponi; the coasters because Filottrano is the second stage of the journey that takes them from the Conero to the Argentario.
For everyone there is ample parking and a lift and for cyclists there is a garage to store bikes with a small room for the maintenance and washing of bicycles.
