The Space:
Esta casa con gran valor patrimonial pertenece al eclecticismo de la época porfiriana con gran influencia regionalista. Toda la casa está decorada con arte mexicano local único y obras de Ajijic, Tonalá, Tequila y Oaxaca; creando una mezcla de ricos colores y contrastes, cerámica de barro, cantera, bosques y vegetación típica. Esto hace de Villa Calavera Casa Morelos el lugar ideal para los amantes de la cultura mexicana y el estilo de vida del Tapatío.

La casa ha sido adaptada para ser lo más ecológica posible. Barrio México recientemente instaló paneles solares en el techo; y la mayoría de nuestros productos de limpieza son biodegradables, incluido el champú y el jabón provistos a nuestros huéspedes. ¡También aceptamos mascotas! Los estudios son una mezcla de muebles rústicos sencillos, un estilo moderno y un ambiente apacible y apasionado, siempre enfocados en la funcionalidad y el confort. Todos los estudios en Casa Morelos tienen un baño privado cada uno en la planta baja, y son de doble altura con la cama principal subiendo un pequeño conjunto de escaleras a una plataforma de madera. Cada uno tiene su propia clave para la privacidad. No hay aire acondicionado, pero cada estudio tiene 2 ventiladores.

Todos los estudios comparten una cocina totalmente equipada y una terraza en la azotea para disfrutar de un libro durante el día o una copa por la noche. Ofrecemos cerveza artesanal local para la venta en la nevera. Hay una bañera a temperatura ambiente ideal para relajarse después de un largo día de caminata. La casa tiene una manija automática de la puerta eléctrica para ingresar y salir con un código, por lo que el check-in puede ser tan tarde como desee. Somos el patrocinador principal de un proyecto local de consejos y mapas llamado Antiturista, cada estudio cuenta con un mapa físico en el momento del registro y también se proporciona una copia digital en la reserva confirmada. This house with great patrimonial value belongs to the eclecticism of the Porfirian era with great regionalist influence. The whole house is decorated with unique local mexican art and works from Ajijic, Tonalá, Tequila, and Oaxaca; creating a mixture of rich colors and stark contrasts, clay pottery, quarry, woods, and typical vegetation. This makes Villa Calavera Casa Morelos the go-to place for lovers of mexican culture and the Tapatío lifestyle.

The house has been adapted to be as eco-friendly as possible. Barrio México recently installed solar panels on the rooftop; and most of our cleaning products are biodegradable, including the shampoo and soap provided to our guests. We are pet-friendly as well! You can ask more about our policies for pets.

The studios are a mixture of simple rustic furniture, modern hipster look and a peaceful and passionate atmosphere, always focused on functionality and comfort. All studios in Casa Morelos have a private bathroom each on the ground floor, and are double height with the main bed up a small set of stairs to a wooden platform. Each has its own key for privacy. There’s no AC, but each studio has 2 ventilators.

All Studios share a fully equipped kitchen and terrace on the rooftop wonderful for enjoying a book during the day or a drink in the evening. We provide local craft-beer for sale in the fridge. There’s a room temperature tub great for relaxing after a long day of walking.The house has an automatic electric door handle to enter and exit using a code, so check-in can be as late as you wish. We are the primary sponsor of a local tips and maps project called Antiturista, every studio is provided with a physical map upon check-in, and a digital copy is provided upon confirmed reservation as well. We are happy to provide you with additional tips and recommendations, and answer any questions you may have. You will love this authentic mexican experience from the moment you set foot in this beautiful house.
Guest Access:
Los huéspedes tienen acceso a la terraza, donde pueden hacer la cena o pasar el rato. Pueden hacer uso de la bañera (no caliente) y de una gran cocina equipada. Una señora de la limpieza está allí en horario de oficina para ayudarlo a mantener el lugar limpio y ordenado. Cada habitación tiene un juego de llaves para la privacidad. Si desea limpiar una habitación hay un costo adicional de $ 150 pesos. Si te quedas más de 5 días, se incluye un día de limpieza. Tenemos servicio de lavanderia con un costo de $150 pesos por lavadora.

Guests have access to the terrace, where they can make dinner or hang out. They can make use of the bath tub (not warm), and a big equipped kitchen. A cleaning lady is there on office hours to help you keep the place clean and ordered. Each room has a set of keys for privacy. If you wish a room to be cleaned there is an extra cost of $150 pesos. If you stay more than 5 days, a cleaning day is included. We have laundry service, it costs $150 pesos per charge
Interaction with Guests:

The Neighborhood:
Chapultepec is the number 1 area in Guadalajara to be in, either as a tourist, student, worker or businessman. Very near to the expo, to the city center, and to the very rich gastronomical, cultural and touristic areas.
Getting Around:
There are many bars, coffee places and restaurants less than 2 blocks away in any direction. There are many things walking distance as mentioned above: El Expiatorio Church, Chapultepec, Downtown and others. Half a block away there is a Mibici stop, a public bicycle service that costs 80 pesos per day, or 160 pesos for 3 days. On the same block of the property there is a bus stop of the public transportation system, which is 7 pesos per ride, and can take you quicker to downtown or Chapultepec if you don't like to walk. There is a public parking lot one and a half blocks away called "Estacionamiento Público Tapia" if you have a car. You can also park the car outside but it is not recommended and you have to download an app called Parkimovil so you can pay. If you are heading to places like Expo, Providencia, Chapalita, Andares or Tlaquepaque, it is recommended to use taxi or Uber.

Stringent: No charges will be levied if booking is canceled 61 days prior to check-in. If cancellation is done between 30 to 60 days prior to check-in, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged. Post that, there will be no refund.
