As you embark on the ferry to Aarø, you will realise that you are on the way to a holiday paradise. This home built in 2013 is of great quality. The luxurious interiors with many modern utensils provide a very pleasant stay. The large living room is centrally located and has a south facing floor-to-ceiling window. The hot tub can accommodate four people. The radio and CD Player are integrated with the television set. The lovely terrace is perfect for relaxing. The sea is not far from any part of this island and the beaches are simply gorgeous. Also, the area has low traffic levels and is quite stress free. Bike rides around the area are safe enough to be enjoyed with young children. A visit to the nearby adventure playground is a must. The island has many farm shops which offer specialities from other Danish islands. The Brummers Gaard Farm is a special experience with exclusive Galloway steaks. Bike, hand carts and sea kayaks can be hired here. Savour the locally produced wine and spend many cosy hours on the estate of Aarø. The area of Aarø is a nature reserve for migratory birds. The Helene ferry takes holidaymakers to Haderslev, a beautiful ancient city. The ferries to the island of Aarø sail regularly and in case of necessity, additional services are organised. The harbour with its fishing boats and sailboats is a charming place. A fish cleaning place is provided in the house for fishing enthusiasts. As many houses are built in this holiday home area, occasional construction noise can be heard.
