The apartment is located in a prestigious building, with concierge service, on the right bank of the Tiber, in the vibrant Prati area, and in particular, on Piazza Cola di Rienzo. It is only a few minutes away from Piazza del Popolo, Castel Sant'angelo, the Vatican and the metro station Lepanto (line A) - that will allow you to easily reach all the main tourist attractions of the city.
Fabrizio will be waiting for you at the entrance of the building and, after walking you through the elegant courtyard, will accompany you to the third floor. The flat is only accessible by stairs and is therefore not recommended for people with reduced mobility or disabilities.
The large 1 bedroom flat (about 60 square meters) is extremely quiet and bright. Renovation and furnishing of the apartment completed in MarchIt was decorated with fine finishes and equipped with burglar alarm, safe, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, 32 inch Tv, Apple Tv, Usb sockets, internet, Nespresso coffee machine, hairdryer, mirror (cm), recycling bins, single guest bed (for an additional guest / child), central heating and air conditioning for the warmer seasons.
The modern style of the apartment blends well with antique furniture. "cementine" reminiscent of old Italian houses, decorate the bathroom and kitchen, giving a delicate vintage touch to the home.
The elegant bedroom, overlooking Via Cola di Rienzo, has a king size bed and is decorated with English wallpaper and luxurious curtains.
The Prati neighborhood offers a quieter and calmer alternative for tourists looking to be well-connected to the sights of Rome without being stuck in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. It is an affluent residential neighborhood that has theVatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica practically at its doorstep. Because of its close proximity to the Pope’s residence, it also happens to be one of the safest neighborhoods to be in. Aside from convenience, Prati is filled with great authentic Roman trattorie and great bars and pubs where one can go and listen to some live music.
What's so convenient about this neighborhood is that it's literally within walking distance from Vatican City. Tourists find it easy to stay here as its truly a walkable neighborhood. Whether you plan on heading to the Pope's Mass or Blessing on Sunday and Wednesday mornings or visiting St. Peter's Basilica, these popular sights are just minutes away. Planning a day to spend at the Vatican Museums to see some of the finest art work in the world as well as the Sistine Chapel never got easier. There are two metro stops conveniently located in the Prati area that will connect you with the Vatican Museums: Ottaviano and Cipro.
