One of the major attractions of this area are the beaches.
There is something for everyone! Due to the different features each adapted to the practice of surfing and windsurfing. Nearby is a pond dam that has excellent conditions for practicing windsurfing.
There are very sheltered beaches and wild and greater supervision or with bars and restaurants - all at a distance of 1-5 km.

Near the village is the Natural Park of Arrábida (27 km - 30 m), a protected area since 1976, high value in relation to geology, flora, fauna and landscape, complemented by an adjacent marine reserve (Luis Saldanha maritime park).

The 14 km (20 m) is typical Vila Nogueira de Azeitão, with its palaces and wine cellars, where they come from some of the best muscatel wines that can taste and origin, also the famous pies Azeitão and equally appetizing cheese Azeitão.

The 15 km (25 m) is the cable Espichel, with a shrine of the eighteenth century, a space where religious occupation dating back to the fourteenth century. Less than 30 km away can still discover the beautiful town of Palmela and its castle dating from Roman times, the city of Setubal, with human occupation since prehistoric times, and for those interested, the Quinta do Peru Golf (15 km) or, somewhat more distant (25 km) of the golf estate Aroeira.
