The lounge has comfortable seating, a fireplace, dining room table for 6 and a double sleeper couch. Outside is a portable braai and a carport for 1 vehicle. Poppehuis is a comfortable house for a family breakaway.

The Harold Porter Botanical Garden offers indigenous forest, waterfalls, hiking trails, picnic spots, restaurant, many bird species and a variety of small antelope, porcupines, Lynx, baboons, dasies and mongoose.
Betty's Bay has two lovely long silver sandy beaches as well as a selection of small private beaches with rocks and rock pools.
