The swimming pool is only available to the owners (or tenants) of the adjacent private houses. There are two tennis courts 200m away and a lawn bowling court 50m away (both only against payment on site). The first class Alto Golf & Country Club (18 holes) is just a few kilometres away.

The Neighborhood:
Alvor is located between Portimão and Lagos. The place itself is about 1km away from the beach, inland at a large lagoon, the Rio de Alvor. Since the beach with its touristic facilities is a little away from the village, the village has kept its original character. Narrow alleys with typical Portuguese houses characterise the village. By walking through the village in direction to the west, one gets to the lagoon. Here is the fishing port with its colourful boats and its fish hall. The local beach, the Praia de Alvor, can be easily reached on foot. But it can also be reached by car, there are parking places directly at the beach. The kilometre long white sandy beach is bordered to the east by rocks.
Other Things to Note:
The prices are valid as a total price for 2 persons and include the costs for electricity, gas, water, final cleaning, bed linen and towels. Possible heating costs will be charged according to consumption. For the 3rd and 4th person a supplement of 5 € per person and day will be charged. The prices are only valid for bookings of seven days or longer.

Non Refundable: This is the strictest clause. As soon the booking is confirmed & payment is accepted, booking becomes non-refundable. Zero amount will be refunded to the customer if she or he cancels the booking.
