The Sea and the beach here is clean and safe for swimming. It is a small village on the east coast of Mahe 10 mins by car from the airport, with cafeteria / Restaurant/ takeaway/ and also the famous rum distillery factory , a corner shop is within walking distance too.
Access to Victoria and south is easy by bus which stops nearby . Also souvenirs may be purchased at the craft village centre in the village.
