We welcome you to our home at Kolob Canyons Guest House, located on five acres just two miles from Zion National Park's northwest Kolob Canyons section. It is close to Interstate I-15, two and a half hours from Las Vegas, and in the heart of national park and public lands country. Stunning views are found in all directions including the Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park, the Pine Valley Wilderness Area, Black Ridge Wilderness Area, and the Bumblebee Mountains. We are located 20-minutes south of Cedar City, Utah, home of the world-famous Utah Shakespeare Festival and 30 minutes north of St. George, Utah where you can find lots of great shopping and dining options. We have some of the best four-season weather anywhere.
You can enjoy our beautiful surroundings with a private patio area available to guests. You may see a variety of wildlife such as turkeys, deer, hummingbirds, red tailed hawk, golden eagle, or hear a great horned owl. We are a National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat.
This listing (east side Hawaii room) is for one bedroom with a shared bath in the ground-floor walk-out of a private residence. There are other listings on the same ground-floor so it is possible there will be other guests here at the same time as your reservation. You can also rent two bedrooms together, or an additional third bedroom and pullout for up to six to eight adults. Kid's toddler bed and Pack'n Play also available.
The National Park themed common area has a pull-out sofa, large-screen TV with a large Blue Ray and DVD collection. The National Park room features posters and pictures from local and favorite national parks. It also has a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave and kettle. A breakfast table with stools sits next to guidebooks and local travel information. An elliptical exercise machine is available.
There is also an additional third bedroom available with a toddler bed and bunk beds that can be rented if desired. The entire walkout basement Guest House area can accommodate up to 8 people in beds (additional fee of $10 per person per night). Please inquire.
