You can visit the large Howard Gardens which is next to Villa Dominus.
Then you can visit the Old Capital City Medina, named as the Silent City, and you can walk through the old narrow streets with beautiful old houses, until you arrive at the Baston Square to see the beautiful and fantastic country views, and the villages of Mtarfa, Mosta, Salina, and Salina Bay.

It is located between the piazza of Rabat and Mdina, surround by many restaurants and coffee shops and the famous 'serkin' which serve the delicious traditional Maltese 'pastizzi' (cheesecakes made from ricotta & peas).

Rabat is also around 20 mins away from Blue Grotto in Zurrieq, one of Malta's most beautiful beaches, among many others of course.
Rabat is also around 25 mins away by car from the capital, Valletta.
