You will stay in a building with very attractive architecture, and your hosts will always be ready to help you in whatever you need, as well as suggesting places to visit within the environment of Old Havana.
Habana Flores is an independent apartment, even with its kitchen, half a block from the famous Bodeguita del Medio and about 100 meters from the Plaza de la Catedral. In the surroundings there are several cafes and restaurants with very interesting gastronomic offers.
The accommodation is on the second floor of a building with very good construction and you have to climb 53 steps to reach it. Upon entering you will find yourself in the dining room, which has Tv, game room and refrigerator, then you will see the kitchen with two gas burners and electric oven, there is also a shelf with cutlery and dishes. There is an electric heater system that allows hot and cold water throughout the apartment. You can count on a cell phone with line to make and receive national calls.
The room has a camera bed with night lamps that provide good night lighting and a balcony with a beautiful view of Cuba Street. It also has bathroom, closet with chest of drawers and air conditioning.
The guest will have access to the entire apartment and can use the kitchen.
The owner will receive it upon arrival, or send her granddaughter, and then keep in touch with you through the phone, because she does not live in the place.
You will be in the very heart of Old Havana, so with going for a walk you can go on your own itinerary of museums, monuments and interesting places to visit. In the area there are several tourist information bureaus, but you can also ask for recommendations from the owner.
Nearby you will find museums and historical monuments, as well as churches, curious small squares and many restaurants and cafés: some even famous, such as Bodeguita del Medio and El Floridita. However, we also recommend visiting private restaurants recently opened in the area, which usually offer complete menus for very good prices.
If you want to move within the area, it is best to walk, although you could also rent a rickshaw.
For more distant routes, go out to look for a private taxi (known as almendrón, they are cheaper because they move several different people), or otherwise rent a state one in which you pay the route. You can also opt for the tourist bus that runs through the city.
