The village of Les Bories 4 km from Gordes, all of whose buildings are built entirely in dry stone. Rural habitat museum, listed as a Historic Monument.
The pure and harmonious lines of the Abbey of Sénanque, 3km from Gordes, make it one of the jewels of Romanesque art; it has become one of the symbols of Provence. Set in the bottom of a valley, it has always been inhabited by Cistercian monks since its construction in the 12th century. Classified as a Historic Monument.
The Bouillons mill, 5km from Gordes, is a very well preserved old oil mill. Gallo-Roman site inhabited for 2000 years. It tells the story of olive oil and Marseille soap in the Mediterranean. Located on the road to Gordes, in St Pantaléon, in the heart of a 3 hectare park, where the Museum of glass and stained glass is also located.
Hiking enthusiasts will explore the troglodyte water mills in the Gorges de Véroncle.
