Råbjerg Mile is a great hiking region located here which is a great example for the rigid forces of nature. Every year the sea level rises here taking in several metres of land starting from the eastern direction. Hirtshal is just 4 km away. This serene fishery and harbour has a tranquil and peaceful ambience, where you can buy fresh fish directly from the boats or visit the modern staircase monument located high above the town with a view of the harbour, sea and the dunes. You can find numerous artisans' workshops in town and enjoy how the colours of the sea and sand influence the beauty of this country.
