Also enjoy the view from the large wooden deck which is at an elevated location. Hejlsminde near the Little Belt is a beautiful area with beach, forest and other attractions. There is a nice marina in the village. Take advantage of the many good cycle paths here. Not far from Hejlsminde are Skamlingsbanken and Christiansfeld (famous for honey cakes, ornamental fireplaces and salami). Kolding also offers many experiences for families with children and art enthusiasts such as the Trapholt Museum. There is also a games park, which offers free entry. The pedestrian areas of the city and shopping centre Kolding Storcenter make it a shopping paradise. Here lies the quaint Koldinghus Castle, which is really worth visiting.
