The sole reason this flat exists is to make you feel luxurious. The dark tones and golden accents lend to that idea and the view looking out over Montréal's Mont Royal is a complete and total game changer. Not to mention it is located in one of Montreal's most sought after neighborhoods. You can't - CAN NOT - beat this place.
The Space:
Everything about this apartment makes you feel like a star. You're on vacation, you're already treating yourself - and this spot just takes that over the top. The insanely awesome couch, the designer furniture, and of course, the view. This place is magnificent and we just can't wait for you to come and see for yourself!
Guest Access:
The apartment will be all yours. Nothing is off limits. So as we mentioned before, put your feet up. Stay a while.
Interaction with Guests:
We'll do our best to greet you upon arrival and show you around - but, if the logistics don't allow for that we'll send out some simple self check-in instructions that will get you all set up! After that you'll be left to your own devices.
And speaking of devices, ours are always in our pockets. So if there is ANYTHING - day or night - we're available. Feel very free to reach out if there's need.
The Neighborhood:
On the hosting end, for this section, we're prompted with the question, "What do you love about this neighbourhood?" To which we have to reply, "What DON'T we love about this neighbourhood?!" It's objectively magnificent. It's on a quiet street, so you're comfortable, and not bombarded with downtown's hustle and bustle. But, avenue du Parc is the first street to the east. And Sherbrooke is the first street south, so if you need a main thoroughfare, you're there, friend! A couple more blocks south and you're on Sainte Catherine street. Any shopping you're gonna wanna do, any food you're gonna wanna eat can be found right there. And beyond that, you're at the base of the mountain for which the city is named. It's an absolute must for visitors to the city, and you're already half way to the top! It's just magnificent.
Getting Around:
The metro station Place des Arts will be your home base at about a five minute walk from the flat. From there, the green line is all yours. If you wanna head north to the plateau, you can grab the 24 on Sherbrooke and disembark in three minutes (five if it's rush hour) at Saint Laurent and either make the leisurely stroll north, or grab the 55 if you've got a specific destination in mind. If Mile End and the bagels found therein tickles your fancy, it's just a few steps east toward Parc to grab the 80 north. And there's a Bixi stand super close to the apartment. And of course, Montreal is one of the most walkable cities in the world, so if you've got a comfy pair of kicks, you're all set!
Other Things to Note:
We don't mean to brag (yes we do) - but this place is us. The bed was made by hand, in the very same bedroom where it's now residing. The supplemental counter space/eating space beside the kitchen was painstakingly measured to fit the space perfectly. And the wood for them was from the left overs from the bed. You just can't beat that.
