This is a large (1800 ft approx.) apartment with an amazing view of the Kingston harbor and lights. It stands in almost an acre and the gardens are rich in birds, flowers, fountain and fruit. My place is close to the nightlife, public transport, the city centre. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
For me, the charm of the place lies more in its cool breezy weather and the sense you are in some deeply rural setting, and yet you are only 6 mins from the city.

Guest Access:
Promontory Ridge is a big place....
This is a tall building, built on a high ridge with three apartments.
This is the top unit and you have access to the entire top unit which includes ann the balconies, patios, located on said floor along with the
kitchen, laundry, and a series of gardens and walks that descend about
150 feet to the valley floor.
For the fitness walker....you do not need to leave the property
to get some wonderful cardio exercise.
Interaction with Guests:
I am typically willing to offer the best advice I can to any asker
who needs my help.
All they will have to do is message me and I will respond
the best way I can.
And certainly, I will stand by my Listing and resolve any difficulties experienced by guests that derive from there.
The Neighborhood:
It is an upper middle-class neighborhood with many substantial homes and buildings.
The crime rate is low and the weather is delightful.
It is much liked for its scenic views and it's convenient location.
Getting Around:
We are about a 10-minute walk from Stony Hill, which has good shopping and transportation links.
And then Manor Park, a major Kingston residential and commercial area is a few minutes drive away.
Other Things to Note:
We intend to develop this property as a venue for various family
occasions, such as weddings, reunions, cocktail parties, Bar Mitzvahs etc.
We believe that with it's generous gardens, and and evident beauty
all around you, this would be an excellent location for a
family celebration.
We are willing to assist you in organizing such a function.
Just ask us about it.

Please note that this listing does not come with any form of a meal plan and also that the host is not required to supply groceries to the guest.

We have been attempting to encourage the population of butterflies and specially birds that nest in the surrounding trees.
They frequent the Ridge in great numbers.
Please don't harm or frighten them!

In the unlikely event of a power outage, all rooms are supplied with battery powered light fixtures.
There is also a back up burner gas stove to cook on. We have provided a reasonable number of sheets and towels etc. However, it is very likely that they will need to be laundered from time to time, especially for longer stays. The responsibility to do this is upon the guest. However, if you wish to pay for an extra cleaning, the laundry of the sheets and towels will be done.


Normally, between the hours of 9.00 am to 5 pm, there is no charge for checking in or out. as our apartment keys are located at an office that closes at 5.00 pm sharp

After hours, however, overtime payments become unavoidable, as someone has to be present in the apartment til the guests' arrival or departure.
Hence there is a US$10.00 charge for each late check in or out.

Alternatively, you could pay $US30.00 and order a private transfer.
In this arrangement, our driver would collect you from the airport, bring you to the apartment and check you in.

Commencing November 2017, we will be providing our guests with a local phone , including a small startup credit.
This is for them to use in the event of emergencies and as a local convenience.
These phones are provided FOC, and as a gesture of goodwill and concern for our guests.
Please note carefully however that should the phone be lost or damaged while it is in the guests possession, there will be a charge of US$100.00.
The initial cleaning that we provide our guests is charged for as part of the original booking.
New cleanings are very easy to arrange!
All you have to do is ask for a fresh cleaning and one will be provided at the same cost as the first.
Electricity is a huge expense in this big old house. We have routinely received bills exceeding US$1000.00 a month. We are "begging" our guests to have some pity on us!! It is especially galling to see all the airconditioners on full blast, and the guests are not even present in the property.
Please be informed that, in such a case, we will turn off the A/C s ourselves.

Default Cancellation Policy

Stringent: No charges will be levied if booking is canceled 61 days prior to check-in. If cancellation is done between 30 to 60 days prior to check-in, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged. Post that, there will be no refund.
