Slagelse is the most important commercial city of West Zealand, where you can shop to your heart's content in the pedestrian areas and shopping centres. In Slagelse you will also find one of the largest barracks of Denmark, so you can see the Hussars of the life guards riding through the city. You can also visit the Bonbon-Land near Roskilde, where the whole family can have fun. Also pay a visit to Korsør at the foot of the bridge over the Great Belt, surrounded by forests and beaches. Right in the middle of the town there is a well-preserved fortress. In Havnearkaderne there are several interesting shops.
