The glacier-like headland of Odsherred creates the impression of being in a Geopark. Along the burial mound street, with the dolmens and grave mounds, you will see remnants of the Stone and Bronze Ages, the remains of an old forest village abandoned 300 years ago in Ulkerup and the Hempel Glass Museum. In the Odsherred Museum you will find a replica of the sun chariot that was discovered in the moors of Trundholm Moses. You can also visit the Näsholm Borg castle that stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø, between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. In Odsherred there is also a nature school, where you can catch seafood, go on butterfly safaris and expeditions organised in the forest as well as troll and fox hunts. Your children will be thrilled by a visit to the Odsherred Fire Museum. Visit near the Summerland Zealand, galleries, which are also typical of Odsherreds and Dragsholm Castle from the 13th century. You can also visit the Summerland Zealand, the typical galleries of Odsherred and the Dragsholm Castle dating back to the 13th century. Havnebyen is the only proper fishing port with boats and a small smokehouse.
