The apartment is newly renovated and beautifully designed and sports an open-space living area.

* 3rd bdr is small and is made of 2 levels. Above is a wood sleeping loft with 2 adult size joined mattresses. These are good for people (adults or kids) who are happy climbing a sturdy ladder to their bed. Family with kids often make use of the loft as a play space.
The downstairs part of the room has the wardrobe, a desk and a door to the balcony.
* Gorgeous 2.2 x 2.2 m balcony overlooking the garden that's also suitable for a Succah.
* Main bathroom with a full bath. Washer, dryer, an ironing board and an iron in a cupboard in the hall.

The German Colony is one of the trendiest and upscale in Jerusalem. Old and quaint stone houses from the turn of the last century (like ours) have been renovated to the highest standard. Restaurants, art galleries and boutiques line the main streets. It is part of Jerusalem "culture mile", so theater, ballet, concerts, films and street events are all within walking distance. The neighborhood is also home to synagogues of all denominations.
Walking distances: The Train Tracks Park (the new walking and biking urban trail (1 min). First Station culture and food center & Liberty Bell Park (5 min). The Khan Theater, the Cinemateque, Zappa music club, the Jerusalem Theater and the Crown Concert Halls (10 min). Mamila Shopping Mall (15 Min), The Old City (20 min).
Taxi: Semadar taxi stand is right around the corner or you can hail a taxi on Emek Refaim st. within minutes.
Buses: The apartment is well served by buses no. 4, 4a, 18, 18a (bus stop 1 min away) and 14 (bus stop 3 min away). Sample riding times: City Center - 15 min (4,18). Israel Museum - 25 min (14). Mamila Mall - 5 min (18). Malcha Mall - 20 min (18). Central Bus Station - 30 min ride.
Parking: If you have your own car, we have access to private covered parking opposite the street for $10 a day. Please note that this parking space can only accommodate regular sedan cars. For large cars there is on street meter parking and a free lot a few minutes walk away.
