The entry to the pool in our building is free of charge, the entry to the sauna is against a fee - both depending on opening schedule - and these facilities are not integral part of a booking!A completely renovated apartment wonderfully situated in Winterberg, amidst the beautiful nature of the Sauerland. In summer you can go (Nordic) hiking or mountain biking. You can also participate in excursions to various local villages with their beautiful half-timbered houses. A few minutes from the apartment lies a spa, a bike park with various challenging routes, a shopping mall with a supermarket and a swimming pool. After a day enjoying the fresh air, you can relax with a drink or eat at one of the cozy cafes or restaurants in the area. For young persons there is even a disco.
This come to our cozy apartment for 4 adults and an infant. You will find the following rooms: 1 living room with TV and sofa bed (for 2 people). You get from here directly to the balcony with garden furniture. The master bedroom also has an access to the balcony and has a large double bed. A 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed, where even adults can sleep. The bathroom has a bathtub, sink and shower. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to pamper your loved ones while on holiday: freezer, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher. A dining area is also available. Your car is parked all the time safe in a garage.
The High-Sauerland, also known as 'the land of a 1000 mountains', contains high peaks, deep valleys, rivers, curvy roads, hilly meadows, vast forests and cozy villages. The Sauerland is truly one of the most beautiful and diverse natural areas in Germany, if not the best! For hikers there is a network of trails providing every level of difficulty. This network, which is hundreds of (beautiful) kilometers long, is varied by nature and offers magnificent panoramic views of the surroundings. The city of Winterberg, situated on the Dutch border and with a population of just 4500, is known primarily for its huge winter sports facilities. Yet there is plenty to do throughout the year: mountain biking, abseiling, gliding, golf and mini-golf. The closest ski lift is only 100m away. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of cultural, architectural and historical monuments as well. Furthermore, you will find a variety of nature and wildlife parks here, just waiting to be explored. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous opportunities for children. For example, there's the Peter Pan-Neverland amusement park; the Mäuseweg, with all sorts of things waiting to be discovered in the forest; and the lookout tower on the Kahler Asten. For older children there is a climbing route, summer toboggan run and bungee jumping. If the weather is not so nice, you can go to one of the pools in the area, complete with water slides and lots of water fun!
