The house is a good starting point for excursions to Jutland and Funen. You can go on rounds with the night watchman through the old alleys in Ribe (from May until September). You can visit the Vikingercentre, Wattenmeer centre, the Sct.Cahtarinae church with its monastery and Ribe where you can notice the cultural arrangements. You can experience rich nature with the impressive black sun when you see huge flocks of starlings over the mud lands.
