The Näsholm Borg castle is located on the small island in the Nygård Sø Lake between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. The nature school offers many activities like fishing, expeditions in the forest, butterfly safari, troll trail and fox trail. Do visit the Hovvig Nature Reserve, an artificial wet area with rich bird life. The forest of Grønnehaveskoven offers fitness trail. There are also the beautiful Hundwald and the Thorskilde fountain on the meadow lands Kongeengen to visit. Adventurous guests can join a guided tour and dive into the history of the old psychiatric hospital.
