Dear visitors of Crete, in the south coast of Rethimno area exsist a lovely small corner with Souda beach.It is 3,5 Km. from Plakias village and 35Km. from Rethimno town,100 Km.from Chania airport and 120 from Heraklion.It start to building at 1998 and in 2000 the first people coming in this hotel, at 2007 the first floor coming to give more rooms and space for more people.Until now every year the owners of Nostalgias Kiriakos and Galini try to keep the house fresh,clean,modern with more facilities for all you.
Here in Nostalgia we speak Greek,english, Italian and Russian. The most of the visitors coming from Germany-austrian-france-italy-england and of course from all others countries.
The way to coming is: from Heraklion airport drive west to Rethimno town,after drive south to Spili,before Spili 8Km. turn right to Plakias,and then follow the beach road to Souda beach here you found nameplate to show you the final point of your way.From Heraklion is 120Km. and you need 110 min' Also from Chania airport first drive to national road Chania-heraklion,turn left to Rethimno town 60Km. is Rethimno town turn right south to Spili now the same way. From Chania is 100 Km. and you need 100 min'.
The distance from the sea is 300 meter by one foot path and 700 metre by car road. On the beach of Souda you can found sun beds and omprelos,books to read,2 tavernas, 2 beach bar (at the day) one life quard is there for your safety.
In Nostalgia-apartmes you can have breakfast in boufet, transfer from/to aiport/port/bus station/or other. Also very nice garden with sun beds+omprelos,books to read,coffe or tea to drink. For sure the gorges of Crete are waiting for you to walk Inside,kotsifou-kourtaliotiko-frati-preveli-agios Antonios-mylli-kalikrati-impros-aradenas-agias Eirinis and for sure the Samaria Gorge!!!
