Sit in the shade of the Mulberry tree reading your favorite book or visit the old cantonment town of Kasauli, this is a perfect getaway for all seasons.

The homestay features eight elegant bedrooms, a spacious living room, an elegant study, dining room and a full-service kitchen. The home is ideal for a family who would like to rent the entire property or perfect for a couple looking to get away for the weekend. The main cottage has 5 bedrooms and there are 3 are in the old family home, a stone’s throw away from each other.

Each ensuite guest bedroom offers an oasis of comfort and style and is individually designed to accentuate the magnificent forest and mountain views. Each room comes with your own verandah where you can enjoy pristine sunsets, pine forest views or the twinkling lights of Shimla while sipping a hot cup of tea. Old town Kasauli

A fifteen-minute drive brings you into the heart of old Kasauli. The cantonment was established by the British Raj in 1842 as a Colonial hill station. A must visit is the Kasauli Baptist Church built in 1923. According to The Indian Express it is “considered a unique example of colonial architecture of the British era”.

Kuthar Palace

A short drive from 7 Pines brings you to the Kuthar Palace. Built over 500 years ago the palace is decorated with traditional paintings, arches, pillars, temples & wood carved ceilings. Time seems to have stood still at this former royal home.

The Lawrence School, Sanawar

Founded by Sir Henry and Lady Honoria Lawrence, Sanawar is believed to be the first co-educational boarding school in the world. On the 15th of April 1847, a group of 14 boys and girls camped at the top of the foothills of the Himalayas. They lived under canvas for some weeks anxiously waiting for the first buildings to be completed before the arrival of the monsoon. One can visit with permission from the Headmaster.

Monkey Point

Monkey Point is the highest point in Kasauli, which gives one a wonderful view of the distant Chandigarh plains. On the top of the hill, lies a small temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is said that Lord Hanuman landed here before leaping onto the Sanjivani Hill to collect the herb needed to cure Lord Laxman.
