Being Casa San Giorgio located in a hilly position it is highly recommended to use the car (own or for hire) to visit the many beauties in the area that are difficult to reach with public transport.
The house is positioned on a sunbathed hilltop, as part of a property of over 30,000 sqm, rich in trails for hiking and also mountain biking. In front of the house, a majestic century old mulberry tree that gives shade during the hot summer days.
Have breakfast, savour a drink or dine outdoors while enjoying an unforgettable panorama, experience the magic of the sun setting behind the Old City of Bergamo and the mountains seen on the horizon. The particular style of the rooms is due to the intriguing combination of natural materials combined with the comfort offered by modern technology. Each environment reveals its own specific style, each featuring a sober but personalized interior.
Located on the ground floor and equipped with an independent entrance, the guest house has been designed to ensure relaxation and well-being, with all amenities such as Wi-fi, satellite Tv, heating, air conditioning, hairdryers, smoke detectors, First aid kit, fire extinguisher, fitness area.
At our guests' disposal, also the "dependence tavern", warm and relaxing for moments of socializing or for dining, maybe talking in front of the wood stove. Large parking with box. The house has a shared fitness area, equipped with infrared sauna, multifunctional bench, treadmill, elliptical exercise bike. Use of the equipment is permitted only to adults provided they are in good health. No direct assistance or surveillance or liability is provided.
We are a couple with two little children, we have traveled a lot for both work and leisure and love hospitality. We love sharing experiences and passions with our guests talking or drinking a good glass of wine in front of the fire or cooking something gourmand. If you like the idea, come and find us. We only ask for education, common sense and mutual respect.
In the annexe tavern we provide the breakfast and / or snacks, maybe to enjoy in the garden. The property features a video surveillance system in the outside areas and night-time surveillance by the private company for maximum comfort and safety. Laundry area with washing machine available to guests.
The house is situated in an exclusive neighbourhood on a green hillside. Shopping malls, restaurants, including a three-star Michelin restaurant, supermarket, one open 24/24, discounts, pharmacy, laundry, fast food, fuel and commercial activities of all kinds within 3 km.
There is a bus, train and a few miles to an international airport, a great shopping mall for shopping lovers with 280 shops, 50 dining options and 14 movie theatres including the largest Imax screen in Europe. In less than an hour you can reach a Fashion Outlet with 160 boutiques and shops. Within less than 30 minutes you can reach mountains, lakes or spas. Just a 15-minute drive is the Bergamo Hospital - called Pope John Xxiii and for those interested, only 30 minutes from our house there is Pope John Xxiii's visitable home.
