Our 3 BR villa is situated on the edge of the historic city of Kolhapur. We offer a self-catered home with 2 DBL and 1 Twin BR for 6-8 people & cozy spaces for dining, TV, relaxing. The bathrooms and kitchen have modern amenities & fixtures. Designed by my husband who is an architect and artist, the villa features modern comforts in a rural setting.
The area is ideal to get a feel of the 'real' India that's not on the popular tourist track but offers some hidden gems. We encourage you to get in touch with the simple life, natural surroundings, away from the stresses of the big city. The area is excellent for walking in the morning/evening around the lake, in the university, or even to the (non-operational) airport. Plenty of fauna to admire, from the daily buffaloes bathing, to a variety of birds, and even herds of cows all the way from Rajasthan during the summer.
Kolhapur, most famous for the traditional footwear 'kolhapuri chappals', has a deep rooted culture built around the sacred Mahalaxmi Temple, the fiery cuisine, the Panhalgadh fort of Chhatrapati Shivaji, the sugarcane farming and industry, and plenty more to discover. You can choose to delve deep into a number of activities, or even just lie around and do nothing.

Stringent: No charges will be levied if booking is canceled 61 days prior to check-in. If cancellation is done between 30 to 60 days prior to check-in, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged. Post that, there will be no refund.
