Shri Ballaleshwar Ashtavinayak
Legend of this temple is associated with the devotion of a boy named Ballala to Lord Ganesh. Ballala; son of a famous businessman named Kalyani and his wife Indumati, was an ardent devotee of Lord Ganesh. One day he organized an extra special pooja in his village- Pali. He invited all the other children from his village. The poojawent on for several days. The devout children refused to return home until the Pooja was over. This annoyed the parents and they complained to Kalyani Seth, father of Ballala. He went to the place where the pooja was taking place. He threw the stone that the children had treated as idol of Lord Ganesh idol, beat his son badly and tied him to a tree. A seriously injured Ballala continued chanting Lord Ganesh's mantra. Pleased with the devotion of the boy, Lord Ganesh appeared before him and cured his wounds. The boy requested Lord Ganesh to take abode inside Pali. Lord Ganesh agreed and told the boy that he would take Ballala's name before his own. That is how the Ganpati at Pali came to be known Ballaleshwar. The stone idol which Kalyanseth threw off is called as DhundiVinayak. This is a Swayambhoo Moorti and is worshipped before Ballaleshwar.

Unhere Hot Water Springs
The Unhere hot water springs is located just 1 km from the Pali Ganesh temple. It is at the village of Unhere and also seems to be called 'Uddhar'. The water temperature is between 40 to 60 degree Celsius. The water is known to possess medicinal value in curing skin diseases, allergies and rheumatic complaints

Sarasgad Fort
In History, Sarasgad Fort was used as a watchtower. To start the climb/Trek, you need to take the route behind the temple. Before you reach the fort, you need to climb 3 small hills and then 100 steps to reach at Dindi entrance gate, please keep in mind that the stone steps are slippery. Once you reach the Fort, there are 2 routes to reach the base of Bale Killa. If you are facing the Bale Killa then the route on your right is easy, whereas left side route is bit difficult to climb but its adventurous. On Bale Killa, you can view Kedareshwar temple and the lake. From the Fort, you can enjoy breathtaking view of nature and Pali village. There are tanks carved in rocks which provide cool water supply throughout the year.
This fort height from sea level is 490 meters.

Padsare Waterfall

Thanale Cave Trek
Just like many other early Buddhist rock-cut temples, Thanale Caves are located next to trade route, leading inland from the ancient port Chaul. These 28 ancient rock-cut structures are located in beautiful, impressive location and represent an impressive achievement of engineering and art.
These caves are some of the most ancient rock-cut temples not only in Maharashtra but the whole of India and were located at complex site of the trade route, where the path goes through complicated mountain pass. Punch-marked silver coins from the times of Emperor Ashoka (268 - 227 BC) were found here. Thus it is possible that they were created in 3rd century BC, although it is possible also that they were built somewhat later
At the end of 5th century AD the port of Chaul declined and trade routes changed. Around this time caves were abandoned. Once lively and beautiful complex of temples was forgotten.
In January 1890 caves were rediscovered to the science by missionary J.A.Abnot, although earlier these caves served as a hideout to revolutionary Vasudev Balwant Phadke.
The caves are around 1.5 to 2 hours trek from Thanale Village.

Jatayu Temple
Where the fabled Jatayu from the Ramayana was said to have breathed his last (reach Rameshwar Vaibhav, and check with the locals for directions to the Jatayu Temple). It's a 30-45 minute walk in summer and winter. The approach roads get blocked with heavy rains.
