A few kilometres away from the city centre is Haderlevs Dyrehaven, a park with lot of forest area, meadows and lawns, and a rich variety of bird life. Enjoy a boat trip on the Haderslev Fjord and explore the 12 km long narrow bay which meets the fjord. This region is unique and fascinating with flora and fauna. The larger cities of Kolding and Haderslev offer exciting activities. In Kolding explore among other things, Minibyen, Koldinghus, Trapholt Museum, a geographical garden and a large water park. Also experience the unique ambience of Haderslev. The historic town centre with pleasant greenery is typical of the urban landscape of Denmark. Do visit Legoland and Givskud Zoo which are among a variety of attractions and should not be missed. The area also offers many opportunities to play golf, and fishing in one of the many Put & Take lakes.
